Safety
Tell us what happened.
If you are in immediate danger, call 000 first. For anything else, report it in your workspace or contact us, and Ablepoint staff will review it.
What happens after you report
We acknowledge it
You get a reference number for your report.
We review it
Ablepoint staff review the report, decide how urgent it is, and contact you if they need more.
We act and tell you
We take the action the situation calls for, report to authorities where the law requires it, and tell you the outcome where we can.
What to include
- What happened
- In your own words. You do not need to use formal language.
- When and where
- The date, the time and the place, as best you can.
- Who was involved
- The people present, and anyone who saw it.
- Anything that helps
- Photos or documents if you have them. Do not put yourself at risk to get them.
Complaints are welcome too
Not every problem is an incident. If something about Ablepoint, a worker or an organisation is not right, tell us. Complaints are recorded and answered. You can also contact the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission on 1800 035 544.
