What daily living support can include

  • Around the house

Cleaning, laundry, tidying and light maintenance.

  • Meals and shopping

Planning, shopping, cooking with you or for you.

  • Admin and paperwork

Bills, forms, letters and keeping appointments organised.

  • Garden and outdoors

Mowing, weeding and keeping outside spaces usable.

Support that builds skills, if that is what you want

Many people use daily living support to learn or relearn tasks, not only to have them done. Tell your worker what you want to do yourself, and put it in the agreement.

Common questions

Who can provide daily living and domestic on Ablepoint?

Independent workers who list it among their services and whose required checks Ablepoint staff have approved. Each profile shows the checks Ablepoint recorded, with their dates, and what the worker listed themselves.

Can I meet someone before I book?

Yes. Message workers first, and if you like, arrange a short meet-and-greet session so you both know it is a good fit.

What does it cost?

Workers set their own rates, from $42 an hour. A platform fee is added and shown before you confirm. There is no subscription.
