What personal care can include

  • Daily routines

Showering, dressing, grooming and toileting, done your way and at your pace.

  • Moving safely

Transfers, hoists and mobility support from workers trained in manual handling.

  • Medication reminders

Prompts and assistance with medication as set out in your plan.

  • Keeping active

Support with exercise programs and stretches recommended by your therapist.

Qualifications you can check

Every worker needs a current NDIS Worker Screening clearance, approved by Ablepoint staff, before they can be booked. A qualification shows as recorded by Ablepoint once staff have sighted the certificate. Ask any worker about their training before you book.

  • Each profile says who recorded each qualification
  • Screening clearance approved before booking
  • You can ask for a meet and greet first

Common questions

Who can provide personal care on Ablepoint?

Independent workers who list it among their services and whose required checks Ablepoint staff have approved. Each profile shows the checks Ablepoint recorded, with their dates, and what the worker listed themselves.

Can I meet someone before I book?

Yes. Message workers first, and if you like, arrange a short meet-and-greet session so you both know it is a good fit.

What does it cost?

Workers set their own rates, from $42 an hour. A platform fee is added and shown before you confirm. There is no subscription.
