Common questions

Am I an employee of Ablepoint?

No. You work for yourself as an independent contractor with your own ABN. You set your rates, choose your clients and look after your own tax and superannuation.

Do I need qualifications?

Not to join. Add the certificates you hold: staff sight each one, and it then shows on your profile as recorded by Ablepoint. People choosing personal care often look for them.

How quickly can I start?

Once staff approve your required checks and review your profile, it goes live. Most of the wait is the NDIS Worker Screening Check, so apply for it early.

Ready to work your way?

Set your own rates and hours, choose the people you support, and get paid for every approved session.
